Step 1Take on your subject with the activity which is not too busy, but still keep it mildly distracted. Using a long lens would be an approach to close-ups. It will keep you and your camera away from your subjects. You can engage your subjects to have the conversation with other people who are near the subject. Using the longer lenses will help you in keeping the subject easiness.

Watch the personality of your subjects emerge. It will work well from a distance, whether the subjects know that they are being photographed. All you need to do is just to pay more attention and be patient in shooting your subjects. It is not easy enough for you, but may try as you can to get creative pictures.

Keep close. Being close with your subjects will allow both of you to experience others in ways which are impossible from a distance. You do not need to use a long lens if you want to have the communication your presence with your subjects vice verse. You may use a 50mm lens, for the example; take your shot spot on.

To shoot the children, you should get down to the ground. Children play and often crawling on the ground. To create your children photography looks natural, you can interact with them. When the children play or they are at a birthday party, you may catch them with the natural way. Take more pictures quickly. It will give you the best pictures in creative ways.
