Purchasing Remote Control Helicopters - Ways to Avoid Scamming

With 2 whole days of tiring chores and saving money, I went walking to the sellerтЂ™s place for the remote control helicopter I needed. Very much to my amazement, all the helicopters had been grossly disfigured by the seller.

Let alone the nonfunctional part of it, the thing didnтЂ™t even resemble a helicopter anymore! It had turned out that the guyтЂ™s home had been burnt down and one of the many things he was able to sell was the set of helicopters and he was wishing he could sell that and a few other things to buy a new house or al the least rent one. Apparently, he hadnтЂ™t insured his house and there was nothing to get back from the burnt place. Well, the tale reached and touched my heart and also because I was a little kid, I hadnтЂ™t got to know about scammers, and I finally gave up all my precious money in return for 2 pieces of dump which I was sure would not fly and no even usable. On my way home, I just threw into a trash can and continued on feeling good with myself on helping a poor soul.

Then came the worst part that is when I explained the dayтЂ™s happenings to my dad. He told me that the seller would have got them from the trash can and would have tried to sell them a gullible, foolish guy. Regretfully, I was the foolish person and I now also wonder how he had managed to get the cash to run the ad in the paper. I heard they were quite expensive. Anyway the moral of the story is that is to never ever buy remote control helicopters until and unless you are sure that they are giving good and quality items and that is quite impossible to do through a individual seller.

Drive to a branded place such as Radio Shack. This story does seem to have a humorous ending though. The seller who sold me those trashes wouldтЂ™ve seen me throw the helicopters and picked them up again I guess as I saw the same guyтЂ™s ad in the evening paper the following week. Obviously he had no chance of fooling me again, but this makes me wonder who is going to be the next prey to the scammer? After reading this article, I hope youтЂ™ve learnt the importance of being a shrewd customer. Follow this every sense of each and every word. Never give in for bad quality items.
